I am happy to announce the release of my inspirational historical romance The Rebel's Pledge in a new and refreshing revised version.
Back in the early 1990s, I began writing The Rebel’s
Pledge. Yes, it was that long ago. It was my first full-length novel, and I
was so wet behind the ears that I had no idea about word count and ended up
with a 142,000-word manuscript. It was written first by hand on loose-leaf
paper in a big three-ring binder.
In 2001, The Rebel’s Pledge went to a print on demand
company and was out of print by 2005. I went on to write and publish six more
novels, and in the summer of 2011, I set out to revise The Rebel’s Pledge according
to publishers’ guidelines, but had to set it aside for a time to work on The
Daughters of the Potomac Series.
My dream has come true to present to my readers this book in
a new fast paced revised version. I couldn’t have done it without the support
and encouragement of my husband Paul and my two sons Paul and Michael. Thanks,
guys.
Thanks also to my agent Barbara Scott with WordServe
Literary Agency for her advice, encouragement, and friendship, and to Theresa
Blake for allowing me to use her gorgeous 17th century gown on the
cover.

When she learns her guardian has promised her in marriage to a rich English lord in order to save the ancestral home, her hopes unravel, until she meets the heroic stranger that rescued her from the hands of a highwayman.
